Three Island Crossing

There is nothing like camping!! Our ward camp out was this weekend so we packed up what little camping equipment we had and headed out. Me and the kids left early in the morning and Michael joined us later that night. We went to Three Island Crossing state park. Our camp ground was wonderful it had lots of trees (Shade!) and fresh cut grass. Me and the kids set up camp and went for a walk along the snake river. We ended up on a trail that took us to the visitors center. We had a wonderful time learning about the park and enjoying the air conditioner. Michael arrived just in time for dinner which was hot dogs with roll dough wrapped around it cooked on the fire. Taylor had so much fun cooking her own dinner. Owen played in the grass and put who knows what in his mouth. We were so excited to sleep outside in our tent that Taylor kept asking if we could please go to sleep. We all survived the night but were sad to leave the next morning.

What fun! Great memories for your kids and you guys. Benjamin eats everything too--dirt adds fiber, right?
